It is available to anyone aged between 16 and 55 next birthday who is undertaking full or part-time work on either an employed or self-employed basis.
How reassuring to know that you can rely on receiving as much as 50% of your normal monthly income in the unfortunate event of sickness or injury. Cover is available in units of £50 per month with a minimum of two units and a maximum of ten. Ten units would provide a monthly benefit of £500.
Claims are simple to make and if you are paying your own premiums the benefits are tax-free. And you can choose how to pay your premiums – monthly or annually.
